What if my school hasn't posted grades before the deadline for the letter of continuation?

Send an email to rabowentrust.org by or before the deadline informing us of your situation and when you will have your grades. Then send them immediately upon receiving them.

If I'm from out of state, but I want to attend Wesleyan College can I apply for the scholarship?

Yes! Any in state or out of state resident can apply for the scholarship if they are planning to attend either Mercer University, Wesleyan College, or Middle Georgia State University (Macon Campus).

Can I apply for a scholarship if I live in North Georgia and want to go to UGA?

Scholarships are available to residents of Bibb, Crawford, Houston, Jones, Monroe, Peach and Twiggs counties only, unless the applicant plans to attend Mercer University, Wesleyan College, or Middle Georgia State University (Macon Campus).

Can I transfer schools and keep my Bowen Scholarship?

Scholarships are awarded for the purpose of attending a specific institution and may be transferred to another institution with prior authorization of the scholarship Trustees.

Do I need to reapply to the Bowen Scholarship every year?

Once you are accepted and fulfill the responsibilities required to keep the scholarship then you do not need to reapply.

When can I get an application?

March 1 applications will be available online at rabowentrust.org.

What's the deadline to apply?

May 1 all parts of the application should be received by R. A. Bowen Trust online or by mail.
